Looking at the reviews… I must’ve got really lucky. We were dealing with issues and the dude at the front helped us out a bunch, the room was clean, the beds were clean, the floor was clean, the ac was good, the bathroom tub could’ve definitely had some more elbow grease but it was clean, pretty solid place. Based on my own previous experience, I’d go back. This is was late April.
Super close to everything in town. You can get a bus to the beach and they have coffee and muffins in the morning. Bed was comfortable and we had a bathtub which is nice.
My family and I stayed there this past weekend and absolutely enjoyed our time and had a very comfortable stay. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was stocked and clean, and James at the front desk was outstanding with his customer service! We really enjoyed our stay and will be booking for later in the year and for next year as well!
We stayed for 2 days and the room was comfortable and clean so we decided to stay 3 more days. It was home for our week vacation in Florence. Very family friendly! It’s close to everything, convenient location was a bonus. The front desk gentleman was so warm and welcoming. He ensured we were taken care of and had a pleasant stay. We did!! Will be staying here again for our future Florence vacations. Highly recommended!!
A nice place to lay your head while traveling. The rooms are what you should expect for the price. Location is right on the highway near the numbers one two and three places to have breakfast. Dinner choices are chinese and one of the hands down best Mexican restaurants right next door. Enjoyed our stay. Also plenty hot water.
For a view room is around 250 dollars a night. The room at silver sands hotel in Florence is nice for the price. Spacious room and clean. Reasonably priced. James at the front desk was very cool, friendly, and helpful. I'd stay again. Steve Hamre
Check in was quick and easy. Our room at Silver Sands was clean, quiet and a great place to stay for the night. Hot coffee and grab&go snacks was offered in the lobby. I plan to stay again on my next adventure through the Redwoods.
So, despite all the negative comments, my fiance and I were in need of a place to stay for the night. It was either the truck or the motel, so we chose the motel. After reading all the comments I was genuinely nervous. But I was pleasantly surprised. The man that helped us out was incredibly pleasant, The room we got was clean, and cozy. Honestly one of the first hotel rooms that Ive ever stayed in without some weird smell. Beds were clean and comfortable. The only thing Id be cautious of is that the hotel rooms DO NOT have AC . It wasnt the worst thing in the world, being that on the coast its generally cool at night. But the heater was running when we got in there so we had to leave the window open all night which was kinda loud. Again not the biggest deal ever. The rooms are slightly outdated, they need some fixing up, and maintenance but by no means were the gross. It was a great place to rest our heads and very affordable.
